Default What's happenin? Disconnect question.

Newbie from Waco here. Glad to be on the forum. I need some help. I just got a pair of JKS disconnects, the longer ones. I only have a 1.5" spacer lift and the directions say DO NOT USE INNCORRECT SIZE. I know the shorter ones are for 0-2" of lift and the longer for 2.5-6". My question is can I go ahead and install the longer ones? Why or why not? Thanks everybody for any accurate info you can send my way. SIC EM BEARS!

You need to have your sway bar roughly parallel with the ground (JKS states +/- 5*) so if you can adjust the ones you have to get you that setup, you should be ok.

Worst case scenario - on a full flex the sway bar can actually spin around or invert and do major damage - not good. At a lesser degree I'm sure it has an impact on handling.

That's what I was looking for. The chance for major damage or not. I'll hold off. Thanks again for the help.
