Length of the Jeep Gladiator Wheelbase Really Matter?
Like the posts says, this is largely about personal preference. But overall I think the video is pretty interesting. What do you think?
It's like comparing a Jeep to a Civic on a smooth dirt road... if the terrain isn't challenging enough to stop one of the vehicles, you really can't call it much of a comparison. There's tons of stuff my little 2-door can sail right through that trips up the bigger 4-doors and would stop a Gladiator in its tracks.
Of course, there's also some stuff that it can do without breaking a sweat that I would never dream of attempting (steep climbs/descents, towing, hauling, carrying 3+ people, etc.).
Everything is a trade-off, and no vehicle can excel at everything. A Gladiator isn't going to make a good rock crawler, and a 2-door isn't going to be a great over-lander.
