Default '07 Auto JK Dana 30 & 35 Gear Ratios

Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody knew what the gear ratio was for the Dana 35 and 30 axle on the '07 JK automatic without a tow package. I just recently found out that my Jeep is one of the unlucky ones with the oval rear axle (35) and tiny front end (30) I wanted to know what the gear ratio was for them and what is the max tire size I can install on my jeep with this setup.

Still in shock that I'm not running 44s. I read somewhere that all 07's had them but I guess those other forums were wrong.

Thanks folks.

Only the very early 07's had a dana 35 rear axle. You will either have a 3.73 or 4.10 which was an option on the 07 tow package.
You can do a vin check and it will tell you the gear ratio.

X2 on this. Unfortune they used that axle on any of the JK's. It wouldn't be hard to locate a junkyard D44 though.

What do you guys think the biggest tire is that I can get with this setup? I really want some 34 inch GY MTRs. Please tell me that will be possible.

*crosses fingers*

This.

Before dumping money into a d35, search around and see if you can find a rear d44. Shouldn't be more than a few hundred for the 'non-rubi' rear, and you might get lucky and find one that has already been geared to whichever ratio you are moving to. (there is one with stock 3.73's on my local craigslist for $200).

Perfect! Thanks a billion.! I've already done some browsing on Craigslist and this option seems very doable.
