Default 07 JK popping under driver side while in 4x4

ok looking for some help my 07 jeep jk 4x4 started this the other day . while in 4x4 high and low anytime i turn the wheels to the left or right while driving i am getting a popping sound that to me sounds like it is right under the driver side. it dont sound like its coming from the front. if im driving straight then there is no popping at all.. ??????

Are you flexing when this happens sometimes its it's the track bar.

Mine did this and it turned out to be a seized axle U joint. You could feel it binding when you turned the wheels. Does yours bind?

It could be a bad arm bushing too.

You are offroad when this happens I am assuming. Turning on dry pavement in 4x4 can cause some unsavory noises.

It is the U joints on the front axle ..... I have JK's that i am working on now that have reported the same problem... After inspection the u joints on the driver side have failed on both jeeps ... One is an 07 the other is an 08 ..

yeah it happens while in the yard and the other morning while on a wet clay road.. no flexing or any of that just normal lease road driving.
