You can disconnect the battery negative cable for a few minutes.
Or you can pull up on the Ignition Off Draw fuse holder, then push it back down after a few minutes. It's the white plastic fuse holder in the TIPM (fuse box).

There is no test port for fuel pressure that I know of. The factory tool goes inline at one of the quick disconnects. It has a test port on it.

Original battery? Who suggested replacing it? (If original, then you probably should)

When you tested it with multimeter was that while you cranked the engine? You want to test under load. Sometimes the residual surface charge can fool you.

Did you have the unlabeled red light by the fuel gauge on? That will absolutely, 100 percent, tell you what the problem is if it's on. No need to look elsewhere. Your symptoms sound exactly like the antitheft system has engaged. The light is unlabeled, but it is exactly as I've described. If it's not staying on, then look elsewhere, but if it's on, no need to test the battery, fuel flow, or engine codes. Your Jeep thinks it's being stolen, and will let you start it, then die in two or three seconds. Sound familiar?

Here, more info on that light ...

Again, the light is not labeled. It's adjacent to your fuel gauge. Look for it during bulb check--you probably never even noticed it before since there's no label on it. In my experience, you don't have to disconnect the battery POSITIVE cable for very long to reset. I did it for about ten seconds. During that time I did touch the POSITIVE cable to ground to ensure all stray voltage was discharged. As I wrote above, happened twice to me. So if this is what's happening to you, you probably don't want to be in the situation where you think you have to leave your Jeep at the office overnight in order to reset the antitheft system.

Perhaps the gas cap is bad. Try taking the cap off and starting it

It's OK to disconnect the POSITIVE cable, but if you do, the NEGATIVE cable should be disconnected first.
Once the NEGATIVE cable is disconnected, there is no need to disconnect the POSITIVE, though.

thanks for all the replies ....... It was on a hill and all the gas must have been in the front of the tank and away from the pickup... Yeah, it was out of gas!! lmao I don't understand how it had enough to pick the gauge up past the empty mark and not run but I put it on flat ground to work on it more and it started up like a champ.
