It wouldn't be the famous Door thunk at the B-pillar? Some fixes is to adjust the doors or add some electrical tap to the door latch rings to tighten up the door from rattling around.

Also, have you looked at adjusting in your rear door latch ring, could be your rear door that is not adjusted in enough and causing the thunk...with the weight of the rear tire.

Where would be the adjustments be for doors? I have no idea how to do that or what it is?

Perhaps it's the rear tailgate needing alignment too... Check to see that the black piece of plastic near the striker on the rear is nice and tight and aligned....

check the lugs on your spare, the B pillar was my first thought, search the stock forum. your shock bushings are really OK?

I will take a look at those. Im not sure if the shock bushings are good or not. I dont know what I am looking for. From what my very limited vehicle knowledge intails it looked alright.

So I brought the jeep into the dealer today, and they fixed the problem. They told me some bolts were loose on the shoch and they had to replace the shock absorber. I am just wondering why did the bolts come loose? Is this usual wear and tear? And could I have done this on my own if I knew what the problem was?
