Default 2000 vs 2007 Bolt Pattern

Is the bolt pattern for the JK the same as the TJ some or all cases? I guess my more immediate question is whether I can can put the wheels from my TJ on a new JK?

No, The TJ is 5x5.5 I think while the JK is 5x5, but they make spacers which can adapt.

Are the adapters as safe and reliable and do they mess with your backspacing?

I can verify. NO. The TJ is 5 x 4.5 while the JK is a new bolt pattern of 5 x 5. The 5x5 in fact is so new that there are only limited choices for aftermarket rims right now.

THere are PLENTY of choices available now. It took the vendors a couple of months to adjust, but you should be able to find the wheel you want. Just check out the my.project-jk pages...

True, but I just ordered wheels and a lot of companies, while offering the wheels, are backordered indefinitely right now.
