Could someone clarify the difference between B, C, and S packages please. I have the build list but it doesn't say what comes w/ what packages. The best I can find so far is this
The main reason I'm asking is every time I go to buy brakes and what not this is asked of me by the parts clerk. I, obviously, have the "S" package since I have the alloy wheels, the tow package, 4.10's, power option group, compass readout and A/C. Thanks for your time.
An optional "C" Package adds air-conditioning, upgraded cloth seats and a full-length center console. The "S" Package has those features, plus 16-inch alloy wheels, tow hooks, cruise control and a compass/temperature display.
make me think when I went to purchase a gas cap for the CJ and the clerk asked me the engine size . I was baffle then a other clerk came by and ask me the year and give me the part number. It all depend on who you get or who build the computer software for part search
Okay, Mark, reach way back into those memory engrams and try to remember what came in the S package: Not the 4.10s; that came with the towing group. Tinted windows, I believe. Power group: Nope, I eschew power stuff and I have the S pkg. Computerized dashboard: Yep. Upgraded 16" wheels: Check. Let's see, why was it you bought the S pkg, Mark? Oh! Cruise control--that was the only way to get cruise control!

TY, for the replies. Now I'm really baffled. I have no tinted windows, but I have cruise control. I also have the freedom top, but no soft top. Granted I bought the Jeep from a used car lot.
I'm Olive's 3rd owner and she's been good for the most part, but according to the local stealer service center it has locking diffs front and rear, even though that wasn't supposed to be an available option. Sounds like lies to me, I'll have to check my build list later. Thanks again.

Note: These items, while promoted by Jeep, were in fact in short supply and I don't think any '07s S packages were actually ever made with them. The parts were being used to get Rubi's out the door.

Mark, thank you much, you're the man.
From my build list
I can dream can't I?
So much for Rescue Green "Onyx Green Pearl Coat" and apparently I'm missing my "rear compartment storage tray". Unless that's where the jack is.
I've attached my build list in case anyone wants a look see. Now let's see what the service center says about my clutch.
