Default 2008 Brake noise

I currently have a 2008 JKU and everytime i press on the brakes there is a noise that sounds like its coming from the passenger rear tire. Kind of in and out, I'm thinking maybe the brake pads or something... has anyone else ever had this issue?

Yup if those are original pads on an 08...couple that with bld and t.c.and your rear pads are probably just down to the squealer plates...if not you may have a pebble lodged in there.

I think they might be. I'm getting ready to replace all the belts, spark plugs, and everything else here in a little while. I got a great deal on this jeep used so I don't mind having to work on it a little bit. Thanks alot

Another thing that can cause the noise is rust under the caliper clips. If you are doing the brakes yourself also get a caliper hardware kit which should include the clips, also cut your rotors don't get new if in specs.

Thanks for the tip Tom, they were rusted pretty good. I swapped all the pads too. Getting ready to head to Alaska so I'm swapping out everything I can. This Sunday is putting new belts on day lol
