Water pump ... My fan was coming on more frequently ... Had a leaky water pump. Replaced at 66,726 miles. Have over 68K on it now and fan doesn't come on as often.

Why would you want your OD turned on when off roading.

Thanks for all the help. It turns out I need a new fan motor and assembly. All under warranty. About the OD, best to turn it off while off road?

All over drive is in all honesty is a final drive gear (aka fifth gear or 6th) and if your going that fast offroading your a mad man! Lol I am always under 20 when I am offroading so I'll stay in 2wd untel I get stuck then 4lo. 4 high is for speeds above 35 ( on slick or snowy roads ) if I understand correctly
