I just got a 2008 Rubi and was wondering if the square tubes under my rockers are stock. Are they suitable protection for mid level wheeling so I can move them down a few pegs on my upgrade list? They seem to be kinda stout but I'm not sure if they are intended for protection or looks.

They are stock and come standard on the Rubicon model.

 

Mid level wheeling the stock rock guards on your rubi will be fine. if you did some hardcore rock crawling then I would say upgrade. but they will suit your needs.
