Default 2009 X 3.21s 6 speed 33s?

I just got done installing a rock Krawler 1.75 budget boost and was ordering if 285/70r17 would be good to run with the 3.21 gears or should I go with like a 265? Live in west MI so we don't have a lot of steep grades and I plan on getting a bully dog programmer to so any info would be appreciated

Auto or manual? I've driven a manual, 3.21's, and a 285 tire and didn't enjoy it but my manual, 3.73's and 285 wasn't bad at all. I imagine the auto would be atrocious.

I had 32s (275/75r17) on my 6 speed 2 door w/ 3.21s for a Summer. It was manageable, but not optimal. Hills require 5th or 4th gear, acceleration was impaired, and mileage suffered especially with highway driving. When I trade for the new body style, I'll get 3.73s or 4.10s next time to accommodate bigger tires better.

no programmer. I just learned to correlate the speedo with actual speed.
