2010 JKU fog light bulbs and the dealership????
So both my fogs burnt out on my 2010 JKU tried the local store advanced auto napa etc. all told me the same thing I have to order them thru the dealership. So I call the dealership and they told me $55.00 per bulb b/c they are a special bulb PSX24W... please tell me there is another bulb that I can use or where I can get a set cheaper. Also don't want to have to modify the wiring. thanks appreciate it

There are. I'll look, but several here have bought replacement (upgraded) bulbs from auto parts stores.
Worse case is check the junk yard for bulbs...find out what other vehicles use that bulb and search the yards for that vehicle. Example: jeep patriot, dodge journey, dodge charger...ect. |
Both of your fog lights burned out on a 2010? You sure something else isn't going on like a damaged wire or switch?
I keep my fog lights & headlights on for 100% of my driving (day or night), both of my foglight housing are cracked from rocks smashing them on the highway, both of my bulbs are the original ones from early 2009, and both are still working perfectly. |
Search amazon "putco h16" bulbs. Got mine for $30 for a set. Direct plug in & much better

Welcome to the club. On 2010 they used a fog light that uses a ps24w or something like that. I am on my third one already. Two I got from the dealer at $55 a piece and one I got on eBay, which only lasted about 4 months. Next time one goes bad I am going to replace the whole unit

Available on Amazon. |
That should be covered under factory warranty unless you have a ton of miles already.

This will work: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PHILIPS-2504...0279f8&afsrc=1
But, both going out on a 10 seems like there might be another issue. |
