Default 2010 Rubicon heater problems

Anybody ever experience this:

Last winter, my heater in my 2010 JK rubicon 4 door started to blow hot air at the passenger side vent and get progressively colder to the drivers side vent.

Dealer diagnoised it as a blocked heater core. Flush the system and all was good to go.

Same thing is happening now. Hot air on passenger side vent and as you move from passenger side to drivers side it blows cooler air.

Now dealer wants to replace heater core. Its been in the shop for over a week waiting for a heater core to arrrive.

Im uneasy though. Its not a dual zone system. You can't independantly have 1 side be warmer or cooler then other. So, how can this be a heater core problem?

Thanks
Todd

Haven't had the issue myself, but I have seen a few threads out here about it. If I recall, it is a bad door valve.

There are other threads but I just had it done. They flushed the heating core and voila now I have heat. It's been about one hundred miles since so hopefully it lasts.

All work under warranty

Well, they replaced the rad hose and a left rr wss as the issue with my xmas tree cluster. Lights still went on after I drove home but have been off for 2 or 3 weeks now. Hopefully this issue has been laid to rest
