I need to find a set of the dark gray vents to retrofit in my 2008. Anyone happen to have the part numbers for the dark gray 2011 vents?

 

Keep in mind the 2011 has an all new interior from the doors to the dash. I think some one did a write-up on putting 2011 vents in a 2010 or older JK but I can't imagine anything else would swap.

Interesting about the passenger grab bar having fake bolts. I pulled the hell out of it to test it and it was solid!

 

Here - In this part of the world - All JK interior trim comes in dark gray only .

Would painting them hold ? Any suggestions on what type of paint? (something from a rattle & shake can)

 

 

I'd almost call it a graphite.

 

I'm willing to swap my silver inserts for the darker ones. I have a 2011 Sahara and they are in mint condition.

I think they were referring to the plaque on the grab bar handle having fake bolts. The handle itself should be screwed into the dashboard.
