Default 2012 Auto trans question..

Im not having any issues, I just think its related to the bigger tires (35's). So accelerating and going slow it tends to take longer to shift. Which is to be expected with the tcm being off due to the tires. I drive a lot in ECO mode. Actually, I try to stay in ECO at all times. I baby this thing! lol My question is this.. When in 4th or 5th and awaiting converter lockup it tends to rarely go in. Is this because it thinks it still needs that gear to efficiently stay at that current speed? When I lockup manually by +/-, it does seem to bog down and wont stay in ECO unless at slow speeds. Is ECO really giving me any advantage? It seems to be determined by throttle position. Which is fine but on the interstate at 70 its not happening unless wind speeds are slow and roads are mostly flat. Any input will greatly be appreciated.

You need to get an AEV PROCAL and set it for the gears and size tires u have and it will calibrate your Speedo and change the shift points. I just got one a couple of weeks ago and now it drives like it did when it was stock and I'm on 37" BFG km2's

X2 on the Procal. I have 35" KM2's with 3.73's and it shifts great. Well worth the money.

I dont do a lot of hwy driving but do you think this would help me to stay at 70 a little easier?

let me rephrase that... DO you think it will help me to stay at 70 with less pedal to keep it there. It will get to 70 JUST fine!

I'm running 4.10's. The procal is awesome, I love it. It has a few pretty cool features
