My 2012 JKUR started making a bearing noise @ about 3500 miles when the clutch pedal is depressed. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what the dealer said. probably going to bring it in this week.

 

mine will occasionally make this sound also. I have never thought it to be a problem thou.

 

My 08 does this; has for over a year. Never bothered with a dealer: 90% of the time they're crooks and/or morons...wait did I say only 90% of the time...? I've heard of people getting it "fixed" with no results. I have no question in the reliability.

 

It's your throw out bearing sqeeling. What they will do is put a shim pack in and new bearing it takes a couple days.

 

its a clicking /knocking sound that slows down the longer you hold the clutch in. i work on semi trucks for a living and have never heard a sound like that. Hopefully its nothing big. the last time they had my jeep for 3 days over a door seal leaking.

 

I have the same thing, dealer wouldnt do anything because they couldnt hear it..
