Default 2012 Evaporator Canister the same as 2011?

Has anyone figured out if the Poison Spider Evap skid fits the 2012? I bought the PS skid when I ordered my winch (a month ago). I pick up my 12 Rubicon tomorrow and the 12 has a steel plate over the evap can...

I can dive in and see if it works out but thought I would see if someone else has ventured into this... I did email PS support. When I get a reply I will update. Im dying to get working on my new Jeep! Ive had parts accumulating in the garage for weeks and nothing to install them on... (sorry for the ramble, new owner enthusiasm)

Also hoping my LOD bumper fits the 12...

I spent some time looking at this today. It does not look the same. There are 4 connections on the back instead of the two mentioned in the instructions. I am not sure if the bolt locations are the same...

Still waiting on PSC to reply (not a knock, its the weekend, didnt expect one yet). So hopefully this will work out. Otherwise I will be contacting Northride for a return on posting in classifieds...

Looks like they put a factory skid over the Evap canister.

I just spent some time under my 12 and it looks to me that the PSC evap skid DOES NOT fit. There are 4 tubes off the back of the evap can and the brace for the PSC skid is right in the way of the big one.

Now I need to see if I can return this thing or sell it locally. (the skid not my Jeep)

Well PSC assures me they installed the skid on a 12 with no issues. So apparently I need to just go for it.

My original statement that it would not fit was based on just looking at it all. I did not want to remove the hoses and risk breaking the clips if I wasnt sure it would work.

I dont want to spread false info so I will give it a go and report back...

Give it a shot. Its really easy to install. And if it doesn't fit, it will only be about an hour that you wasted.

My main concern is breaking those silly clips that hold the hoses on. It appears that I can leave them attached if I cut a slot in the stock mounting plate. Then I can just put it in the new skid and be done.
