Default 2012 Glove Box Handle on an 08

I test drove a 2012 Friday to see the difference with the new engine (poor decision cause now I want one). But I saw the handle above the glove box had this like insert that said Jeep on the left and Since 1941 on the right. I don't know what other years it's on, but I really like the look and would love to find something like that for my 2008 if it's not stupid expensive. Anyone know where I might find one or if the make one?

Probably don't want to hear this but you could probably get one from a dealership. I have an '11 and I have the same handle.

I might be able to but I'm also worried about it fitting because of the different interior style. Maybe I need to just call the dealer or quit being lazy and spend an hour on Google.

It fits perfect in an '07-'10. Bolts right in.

From another thread on here.

It comes as 2 parts. The handle itselft, and the silver "since 1941" trim piece. I ordered 1 of each but they are not here yet.

it bolts in, but what about the weird ends not lining up with the rest of the dash? post pics when you get it in I'm sure it looks better than that pic.
