Anyone decide not to get their hardtop tinted from the factory and get it tinted darker locally instead? The price tag for the deep tint from the factory is pretty high and I am thinking I will want it darker anyway...

Any thoughts?

 

I was under the impression it came with factory tint

 

Some do some don't it is an option.
The factory tint is fairly dark and I just had the front windows tinted to match.

I went with a 5% tint and have been happy with it

 

I think all windows are "tinted" just not very dark... The deep tint from the factory I think is 20% and costs $300!

 

I like the look of that! Did you not have your front windows tinted? Also, how much did it run if you don't mind me asking?

 

Its not just tint that is added and I forgot which option it comes with. I want to say 24 something.

 

Ahh, okay, that's it. It's the 23S and 24S packages and is included on the Sahara and above models.

So it's just doesn't come on the base Sport model.

 

But you can add the deep tint on the Sahara's and Rubi's also. Are they just trying to rip us off? Haha
