I bought my 2012 JKU in October 2011. I currently have 35k miles and not a single problem. It has run great from day one.

Picked mine up new on 10/28/11.

Just turned over 36,000 mi. No ticking. No CEL's. I do have some lifter clatter on start up.

It's never been back to the Dealer.

I do have a 5 yr, 100,000 mi extended warranty.

So far yours is the highest mileage I've seen on a 2012. I now have about 33,500 on mine. Just finished a 600 mile round trip towing about 5,000 pounds. All is still well.

Spoke too soon...sitting idling at carson pass last weekend check engine light came on. Just over 60k on the odometer. At the dealership getting the head replaced now.

Did you have any symptoms other than the light? Ticking? Loss of power? Loss of mpg?

Nope! Climbed up Ebbetts and Carson Pass that morning without any problem. Drove 200+ miles with the light on...power and mpg were normal.
