Default 2012 Infinity Subwoofer

Does any one know if the stock infinity subwoofer on the 2012 is temporarily removable ? I would just want to remove it to make room for hauling large items . Is it just a plug in jack or is it hard wired ?

it is easily removable. 2 bolts hold the panel to the floor. there is a plug in the upper right corner.

I wouldn't call it easy. Yes there are two bolts in the bottom, but there is also a small tab right around the seatbelt mechanism with a nut and stud. You have to look hard but its there. The other part of it is you have to slide the seat belt trim ring up the rool bar and un-snap the two upper plastic panels above the sub box.

What about the brace that holds the tailgate open?

The tailgate brace is attached to the body and remains when you remove the enclosure.
