Default 2012 JK 6spd....

How do those of you that own a 12' with the 6spd like it? Thinking of pulling the trigger on a new sport tomorrow. I've owned manuals in the past and have no real preference between auto or manual. On the plus side the wife has tried several times and can NOT drive a manual I've been told that the clutch now shares the same fluid resivor as the brakes, is this true? All other manuals I've owned have been seperate, but it's been quite a while since I've owned one. Any comments either way would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a 12 sport with the 6 speed and 3.73 rear gears. I love it! took me a little while to get back used to it, but reminds me every time I drive it that it's not a Minivan! haha

I test drove both, pulled the trigger on an auto. I opted for the 4:10's with the auto and from what I've heard, the top gear in the auto is taller than the top gear in the 6-spd, so I can have lower revvs on the highway. I've owned three stick cars in the past, and two auto trucks. I did not personally like the 'drivability' of the 6-spd but I love the 5-spd auto.

got a 2012 4door sahara 6spd here and love it... Still unsure of how it will be once i lift it 3.5in and put 35's on it...

If you end up getting one, make sure you check the tranny fluid once you get home or have the tech check it. Mine was almost a qt low and others have had the same problem.

I have a 12' JKU Sport S auto that the wife has claimed. Dealer just got a base sport in w/ the 6spd that just happens to be "crush' in color. Since the price is cheaper than most used Jeeps I may just have to go for it. Guess I'll sleep on it, thanks for the opinions.
