Default 2012 JKU a/c operation questions...

Just wondering if this is normal and everyone is having this problem.

On a cold start or even after the jeep sits for 15mins or so, when get in and start it the a/c already turned on it takes AT LEAST 20 seconds before it comes through the vents. Sometimes it takes up to 40 seconds. Even if i turn it on after starting the jeep and letting it run for 30 seconds it still takes 30+ seconds till it starts coming threw the vents. I can hear the fan running and sometimes im like WTH and turn the knob to change the setting to just feet or just vents and then it starts working. But sometimes I can get it and it starts working perfectly right away, but RARELY. Anyone else going through this? Is it normal?

I just traded my 2010 for a new 2012. The 2010 was instant, but theres about a 5 second delay before the blower fires up, but it comes through the vents as soon as it fires up.

It comes on when you start it up but blows out toward the floor and then switches to the vents.
It clears the hot air so that will blow cool air in your face.

So I was told.......couldn't argue it....makes sense to me.
