Default 2012 JKU Water Pump

Well the truck has been flawless for the first year and its finally in for warranty.

Leaking from Water Pump so it's being replaced.

Part is on back order, they have replaced a lot so just an FYI for everyone to keep an eye open for leaks

My drips down and appears below the front diff.

Just over 20,000KM.

It gets even better though. Went to pick it up because I have to wait for part. Get in Jeep and now I notice the Check Engine Light is on as I drive a way. WTF

Back in I go and they plug it in and they get "ECU Configuration Mismatch". Of course it was closing time so I had to leave it there for them to look at tomorrow now. BRUTAL.

Anyone heard of that code?

So they says its the Wireless Control Module that has failed. So they are replacing that AND the water pump. WOW.

Default water pump

what is the production date of your jeep? its not uncommon to get a bad run of parts that only affect a small amount of vehicles

I'll checked later but its an early one. I think its July 2011.

Jeep has a decent amount of mods and dealer is replacing everything under warranty so that's good. Just a hassle I guess its better now then after warranty runs out

Default A/C Issue

I have had my 2012JK for about 4 months - I have had the AC just stop and then turn back on. It has done tihs about 3 times so far. You will be driving with the AC blasting then all of a sudden it stops and then restarts. Anyone else run into this?

Could be a number of things, could be low on freon from a leak making it go off on low pressure, could be a blockage in the evap coil making it go out on high head pressure, could be a bad switch, Theres way to many things that could make it shut off and come back on to list, take it to a dealer before you blow the compressor
