I sold my 06 Xterra to get my 2012 sport knowing full well reliability may not be as good as Nissan. Overall Iam impressed with most things. You can tell Chrysler did some things on the cheap. Like how the doors are flimsy and the steering wheel molding has sharp edges and a big gap where the two halves come together. I love it though. Power is great and I average 18.5 mpg city with 33" treadwright wardens. I only have 2k miles or so on it and no problems so far save for the ac shutoff thing but it was only for a couple seconds.

If your in the market for a small 2 door rugged 4x4 this is pretty much it. If Toyota brought back the fj40 and they sold the landrover defender over here I bet quality would go up.
