2012 owners - your factory tinted glass
2012 owners...
Have you noticed that the tinted glass on your vehicle is a slightly different color one window to the next?
On my 2012 Unlimited, I noted today that the quarter glass on my back passenger doors is a slightly different color than the main window, and that every window in my hardtop is a slightly different color than the rear doors. Hard to explain without seeing it in-person... Basically none of my tinted glass matches.

The front door windows on my 2012 JKU Rubicon were not tinted at the factory. However, the dealership provided tinting as a free benefit. (I haven't noticed a difference between the factory and after-market tinting, but will check and report back.) Could this be the issue with your Jeep?
The most OBVIOUS difference is the two pieces of glass on my back doors- the quarter glass is more gray, the moving glass (roll up/down) is more of a purple-gray. The tint on the hardtop is a lighter purple, while the rear glass on the hardtop is a gray.
All factory tint on mine... No aftermarket.
