I was able to get the 4.1 for free from my dealer. I will be on 35" tires so the 4.1s will work since it will be a daily driver with 20% off road. If you have any plans of upgrading your tires or getting a lift I would ask for the 4.10.

Good luck.

What's your plan on tire size?? If you're sticking with the stock Rubi tires, get the 3.73s. I've got a '12 with 4.10s and the auto and the fuel mileage really sucks.

At 70 mph I'm turning 2600 rpm which is just over the green area on the tach, best I can get on the interstate is 17 mpg. A co-worker of mine has a '12 sport with 3.73s and gets just over 20 mpg at 70 mph.

I'm still stock but plan to run 35s or 37s when spring rolls around.

Im running a stock Rubi with 4.10 auto. I like the powerful feel of the 4.10 and dont mind losing a little fuel milage. I tend to drive 55-60 on the hywy and that helps with fuel use, but not much. I will go 33-34 when these MT wear out. Off road I put it in 4 LO and my Jeep crawls down the trail with out me touching the gas pedal. I love that.

I'm running 37's with the 3.73's. At 70 I'm around 1900rpm. If you never plan on going larger on tires, go with 3.73's. If you plan to run 35-37 in the future.. 4.10 would be the way to go

G"day how do you find the low range in your 12 auto? As I am thinking of going to an auto this time

I have a 12 JKR with auto and 4.10's. It was a $50 option for me.

Same here.

I went back and forth with the decision to go 4.10 or 3.73.......I just figured i'd go with the 4.10s and give up a a little MPG. I'm sure the 3.73s would have been fine and with some streches of road at 70 - 80 MPH maybe been better, but I like the power with the 4.10s

Mine came w/4.10's @ N/C

I'm around town, hoping to get a travel trailer and to do a little off roading. Plus if I END UP W/35'S, 4.10S WILL BE BETTER. Oops, caps lock fumble.

4.10's made the best sense, mileage does suck. My kids 11 sport JKU w.3.73's gets avg 19-20 mpg (1/2 hwy, 1/2 town and light foot), I'm lucky to get 15-16 w/my round town lead foot (mine is more fun tho, lots of pull).

ETA: I didn't buy a Rubi to get good mileage or be green, matter of fact, I don't care if it glows green in the dark!
