Default 2013 TIPM or Clockspring

Well I'm 18,000 miles in on my 2013 JKU and I've had no mechanical issues but plenty of electric gremlins associated with the steering wheel controls. My volume goes up 1, 2 or 3 notches when I press the button on the back of the wheel. The presents and scan button works great though. They replaced the button and radio unit and the problem persists. The service advisor states its an issue with the programming in the TIPM.

Also, the cruise occasionally fails to cancel OR coast via the steering wheel buttons. A couple of times the cruise on/off has failed to work as well. I end up running up on someone's bumper and then have to tap the brakes to disengage it. I need to give the dealer time to to trouble shoot it again but it's very intermittent like once per 100 miles. His first response was "probably"the TIPM programming again.

Next my dimmer on the headlight switch failed, they replaced it and now it triggers the wipers for one sweep when I hit the turn signal. This happens about once per 50-100 miles.

Last steering wheel issue is the menu button. It was working 80% time. They replaced it and now I'd say its about 90-95%.

So these are all on the steering wheel or column, should I think clock spring or believe him and wait for a TIPM update which may or may not come??

Bump for my issues. Should I lean on them for a new TIPM at the next oil change?

I would lean towards the clock spring since its in the steading wheel. You still have plenty of warrantee left so bring it in and let them diagnose the problem.
I hope it's not the TIPM. I just left the dealer and they said its on some national back order and they have no info at when they will be available.
