Default 2014 soft top help

I just helped my sister put the soft top on her 2014 Sahara. The side windows are zipped in, and velcroed, but the front leading edge isn't staying in place where it wraps around the door surround. It flops in the breeze. Can anyone tell me what we're doing wrong? She's ready to put the hard top back on already...

Are you talking about the leading edge on the passenger windows, what would be the "C" pillar? If so, you need to wrap it around further so it locks in behind. Kind of hard to explain in words to be honest.

I believe we are talking about the same thing but it's only L shaped so there doesn't seem to be anything it hooks on to.

I did the same thing the first time I put the side windows on. On the front edge of each window there is a L-shaped hard plastic part that needs to go into the groove of the plastic frame around the door. I had to unzip the window except for about 2-3" where it first starts to zip to get it to go in the groove.

My wife has the Jeep today, so I can't get a picture. It will be an ah ha moment once you get it in the groove.

he is correct I made the same mistake the first time. It folds into the plastic not just sitting there in the door seal.
