It started because I purchased lifetime warranty but do my own work. The dealer told me to keep all maintenance receipts and records for proof. I just took it a step further and log every fill up in the log book.

Nice. Did you total the number of miles driven and divide by the total number of gallons you have consumed? That is where my number of 16.48 came from. I would be amazed if you were really getting 19.3 in a rubi with 4.10's. a coworker of mine has the 2012 rubi and gets about 1mpg less than I do. So 19.3 is amazing but could be related to climate and driving style. Still amazes me though. Please confirm total miles divided by total gallons for us and post the results.

That's the number - see attached by date, price, miles and comments. It includes some Jeep Jamboree toime as well at ~8MPG. Total to date is 19.33 to be exact but here comes the winter.....

I do a lot of highway and I am no speed demon .... and I love it the truck!

Glad to see I am not the only crazy one recording such detailed records. My wife just shakes her head at me when I grab the little black log book out of the glove compartment for each fill up.

Using actual calculated mpg, I get an average of 17.32 when I delete the data points associated with towing a trailer.

I am averaging 19.982 mpg in my 2012 JKUR with 22,200 miles since early nov 2011. I use an app called aCar in my android phone to log and track all fill ups, services performed, etc.

I used a paper log book. I experimented with apps by decided to keep good old paper. That way if my wife or son uses the jeep and needs to fill up they can fill in the log book. I am amazed that a few of you are seeing averages above 19. Is yours a lot of highway? My friends jkur from 2012 is lucky to get around 16.
