Good info thanks to all that posted.

Running 265/70/17 did any of you need to 're-program' for this size, or no need to worry as most of you noted only a bit wider.

By my homework I have the following:

OEM
255/75/17
Tread width = 7.5"
Over all diaamter = 32.1'

Aftermarket
265/70/17
Treae width = 8.4"
Overall diameter = 31.7

FYI I'm doing my comparrison to the stock tires on my Sahara Bridgestones vs the Mickey T ATZ Radials

on my 2013 JKUR, I will do this size (265 70 17) if I end-up installing:

-BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain T/A
-BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO
-Michelin LTX A/T2

I will stay stock (255 75 17) if I do:

-Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor
-Cooper Discoverer A/T3

It does not seem like you should have to recalibrate your Speed due to such a small difference in overall diameter, but maybe one must?

Do you have wheel spacers? I'm looking to get the same size tires for my 2012 4door unlimited sport. I have a 2.5' TF suspension lift w/ 5100 series Bilstein shocks. If so,would u know the correct back spacing i woud need w/ after market rims, where i dont have to use spacers?

I just replaced my Goodyear Silent Armor 255/75R-17's with Cooper Discoverer 265/70R-17 S/T MAXX tires.
I have a 2 Door 2013 MOAB with the stock Rubicon/MOAB "BLACK" wheels. No problems at all, and no reprogramming required.
My research indicated that a 265/70R-17 was about as wide as I could run with no issues what so ever with stock wheels, and No Spacers.
This is an E rated tire running at 35 psi. I do not notice the ride being much rougher than my Silent Armor tires.
My research indicated that this was a very good all round Jeep Tire giving good traction in most conditions while also delivering good tire mileage. I suspect that this is about as aggressive a tread pattern that I can run and still get good tire mileage.
I am expecting at least 45K on this set of tires doing a 5 tire rotation every 5K.
Another good selling point for me, they say Made In The USA on the sidewalls. Something you will not find on many A/T or M/T tires today.
