it is well documented that wrangler windshields are crack whores. I have been thru two both within about a month of being new on my 13 and 14. I have an appointed to get my 14's fixed on Monday. $100 deductible and Travelers insurance never balks over installing factory glass. On my 13 I left the cracked window for a year and there were at 4 more new cracks before it was replaced but on my 14 the crack runs across the bottom the full length and the sun hits it just right and blinds me.

Same issue here. Two windshields in the 1st 9 months. The glass installer guy said " good thing you have full glass coverage with zero deductible. We will be seeing alot of each other. These things are terrible for broken windshields"

Maybe I'm just lucky, or on borrowed time. 45000 miles on my 2012. Don't even have a small ding anywhere.

every one of mine have been from meeting vehicles on two lanes not following. In Montana there is so much crap on the roads in the winter time and roads get sanded with chunks of rock. Around here it meeting not following that raise havoc on the glass. Piece of rock gets flung from forward rotation of a tire comes at you like a bullet.

Only way to prevent it here is to not drive.

I was roughly 100 meters behind the car in front of me. The first time, I was even farther back from a semi, and it was snowing pretty good.
