Default 3.0 Eco Diesel ?

So I'm probably behind on this.. But does anyone think or have heard anything about this motor possibly going into the Wrangler? If its powerful enough for the grand Cherokee which usually runs a v-8 wouldn't it do great in the wrangler plus give jeep the option to stay with solid axles?

He may be thinking with the better mpg of the diesel, they won't get rid of the solid axles.

I'm not sure here is a link to the site. If they could make a manual as well this motor is awesome.
