It will go offroad from time to time but must likely through mud and light-med trails. It will not see any serious rock crawling or anything like that. I will, however be adding a lift and 35 or 36 inch tires in the future.
so, what mileage are you all getting with the two ratios on stock wranglers?
I have the 3.21s and I'm getting the same as the guys with 4.10s. 18-20 mpg, a mix of city and highway. I wish I had gotten the 4.10s. I'm going to re gear.

thanks for all the responses. We've decided to stay with the 4:10's. It just makes more sense. the missus is gone in to finalize the order and stuff today. I know it'll take a while for it to be built but i'm really looking forward to having our first Jeep! I'm also a little afraid that the aftermarket has really embraced the JK and that I'll spend waaaay to much on upgrades! It's a sickness I tell you! my truck is a great example! the longest I've left a vehicle stock is 1 week. I figure I'll have something added to this one befroe it comes away from the dealership!

thanks again!
