Default 3.8l coolant drain plug-help!!

Can anyone tell me if the hex pipe plug below the block heater is the water drain? Some threads are saying there isn't one, but it's been my experience ALL engines have a drain...

As I thought, there is a drain plug on the block, as all water cooled engines do.
Just below the block heater is the knock sensor. After removing that, there's a 1/4" NPT female hex plug hidden from view just above the sensor.
After 8 years that plug is tight and will probably round out using a regular allan key, like mine did. So I dug out my extractor, drove it in the rounded hole and out she came. I used a 18" 3/8dr extension and got a straight shot at it from outside the frame rail.
A male hex plug is going back in the hole for next time...

On the 3.8L there is a block drain plug on the driver's side. It's behind the dipstick tube, which has to be removed to access it.
