x2 . . . We're skeptically looking forward to a low of 52 here in Miami next week . . .

Maybe not enough run time to charge it after the last start?
Low oil pressure is another trigger to prevent remote starts.

There are several odd events that'll prevent remote starts. For instance, if your hazards flasher button is depressed. Or your coolant is too hot. Battery is just the obvious one (oil, too) in those crazy-low temps.

Let us know how it turns out

At -6 I had no issues w/ my remote start and its a 2013 JKUR. Only time it wont work for me is if a door is open or fuel is low. Hope all turns out fine.

yah the oil temp plays a big role in the remote starter. I guess todays -47 is a little to cold. wowza.

your oil temp would only be ambient not including windchill. if it was the cold you would think it would prevent you from start it at all.

have you double checked your battery connections?

Hmmm.... Considering you started it, turned it off, and then it worked, I'm shooting for the door wasn't closed all the way, as you think. Seems to be a common mishap. I did this as well once. Easy to look over. Particularly with the new door seals. Takes some oomph to close it all the way.
