Default 4-Flat wire trailer harness

I have searched and not found the answer.

I have installed the 4-way flat trailer wire harness and can't seem to find any better place to store the harness when not in use other than wrapping it around the bumper. It looks stupid, but holds it.

Has anybody else done something better?

Am I missing something?

I agree... there is nowhere to put it. I just stick mine inside the back of the hitch carrier.

i ran mine inside through the rubber gromet that goes to the tail light and wrap it up with a velcro tie and leave it near the hardtop harness when not in use....stays clean and out of the elements.

I used a Hoppy brand magnetic mount for my son's ranger which is pretty cool. It is a plastic housing that snaps around the 4 wire connector and has a strong magnet on it. You can stick the magnet to the bottom of an aftermarket bumper or along the frame rail if you have the plastic bumpers. I got mine at a local trailer supply place but you can do a search for "Magnetic bracket protects 4-wire flat" and find online sources.
