So I have 4 door shells left over from my last Unlimied JK. For some reason they cost 2400 new. Any way I was thinking of fabricating them ino half doors but unsure if Ill ever use em. All I need is the internal componets minus the glass and plasma cut the shape to MOPAR half doors. If I took the time to make make em i am afraid i would never use em and wind up collecting dust, or just selling them cheap or trading them for parts. Anyone know how I could obtain a ttemplate of the actual half doors so the fab shot cuts them perfect. Figutre their worth a few grand so get some use out of them...

I have the Full Doors and Half Doors. FYI, the Half Doors are set lower, body wise..., than the Full Doors. Here are a couple of pics of mine, as an example:

Full Doors - Notice how the Door Handle is lined up with the Body Line of the Hood and Tub.



Half Doors - Notice how the Door Handle is lined up with the Top Door Hinge and my Texas JK Decal. It's set about 2" lower than the Full Doors are.



I noticed after I installed my Half Doors, that my internal Door Handle was a couple of inches lower than my Full Door Handles used to be.

You may have a problem getting the Door Handle Guts to properly line up, not to mention, that the Factory Half Door Interior Panels wouldn't fit properly, so you could install the Upper Doors correctly.

What you MIGHT try to do, is to swap them on Craigslist for Half Doors, with someone looking for Full Doors. I see a few in my area every now and then willing to swap one for the other. Just a suggestion!
