Default 6-Speed Thump

For all I know it has always done this but I just got it back from the dealer and was tooling around with it. Anyways after shifting if not carefully pushing on the accelerator I get a nice clunk from underneath my seat. But then I also noticed that any time I push on the accelerator in a quick manor I get the same clunk regardless of when I shifted. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

No u-joints in the rear shaft on a JK . It has one in the front shaft at the axle, but that's the only one.

I get the same thing in mine but haven't figured out what it is yet.

Definately something mechanical. I can really feel it going into 4th and 5th gear. Stealership will be taking a look at it Monday. The position of the thump is under my seat towards the middle of the vehicle, but definately coming from outside of the jeep.

I'm definately interested in what they say. I have a thump when I put it into gear, but its intermittent. I've had it on flat ground with my foot off of the brake and it doesn't move me foward. At first I was thinking air in the clutch line, but I don't know.

It is probably the drive chain in the Transfer case taking up the slack.Mine does this especially when I am on cruise coming off a steep hill.

No Im pretty sure this isnt normal, and its not a Jeep thing. I drove a Tj for 5 years and didnt have this problem. And I love how everyones solution is "its normal...if you dont like it buy a car."
