Default 911 JK help needed

I have a 2012 Rubicon with the 6spd. While driving HWY 50 across NV I started getting random warning lights on the dash then lost gauges one by one until they all quit. Jeep wouldn’t restart so I pop started it. Made it a few miles down the road and it died for good. Was not able to get any codes to come off of it so I disconnected the battery for a little while then was able to get a body control module failure code.

Any way to reboot the BCM? Stuck on the side of the road and it’s 80 miles to the nearest anything.

First thing to do is check the battery. Crazy thing happen to our jk's if the computer isn't getting the proper power. Don't just measure the voltage. You need to know the health of the battery.

First thing to do is Disconnect the plug from the POS Rubicon Sway bar. It is not a matter of if they will fail but when and the what you describe is the result. Disconnect the battery again and disconnect the swaybar, should get you going, something about the way it shorts out sends feedback through the entire system freaking everything else out.

cut the wires to the sway bar disconnect and it fired right up. My sway bar light has been blinking for some time now so that makes sense.

You can shut the light off with a jscan or AEV Procal, If you don't offroad, there is nothing else you need to do swaybar will be fine for onroad driving. If you offroad there are a couple of kits to convert the bar to manual operation (EVO NoLimits) or just replace it with an Antirock offroad bar..

I definitely do my fair share of off roading with this one. I’ll look into those kits.
