ABS Module
Well it's official if you have a 2014 or older JK, and require an 68145835AE Anti-Lock Brake System Module you can not order one from Jeep - Stellantis. Mopar is no longer offering that part. It has been discontinued. Verified this with the moparfactoryparts.com and my local parts department.

I tried one on Amazon for $750 and my mechanic said it would not communicate when he tried to flash. Returned with no problem. There are ones for $1200 on Ebay that I will try at some point. Mine is a 2013 so it doesn't go into limp mode.
Could you elaborate a little more on this process and the position of the jeep on pavement vs dirt/gravel? I was thinking a parking lot where two of the jeep tires are on the pavement and two are on the pavement. Once you punch it and spin, do you stop or drive a bit?
2014 JKU 127000 miles. Codes and service department say the 68145835AE ABS Control module on my vehicle has failed. I have paid two different parts departments and had them refund my money saying they have received no updates from Mopar regarding the part being on national backorder with no information about future stock or
availability. Both parts departments had them listed for $656.00 plus a $70 refundable core charge. I have seen them listed on Amazon for about $1200.00. But do not recognize the sellers. There are a couple on eBay for over $1200 but they ship from China. No thanks. I'm pretty sure the part is made in China. Question? How is Amazon able to get stock when no one else in the entire world can get stock?
Losing ABS and Traction control may not be quite as dangerous as exploding airbags but I'll wager a law suit is inevitable if someone is injured or worse because failure of those two functions because of lack of factory support to provide access to replace the failed part. And a class action could be filed. I am livid about this. My last vehicle a Toyota Land Cruiser had ABS I had it for over 20 years before a drunk hit me and totaled it. I destinctly remember more than a couple of occasions where the ABS saved me from collision. I do not have that now and if it's raining I will not allow my family to drive the Jeep. I could not even sell it with the 3 warning lights on. Pathetic product and pathetic Stellantis.

I signed the petition. I'm surprised there are so few people that have signed it considering how many JK owners are out there, and how many forums and social media platforms there are to spread it.
