Default Adjustable Lower Control Arms

ok, ive got the rough country 4" lift with cam bolts. i want to get adj. LCA but im afraid that when i do that and adjust my caster back to where it needs to be then that will make my drive shaft have a tougher angle down at the differential end. know what i mean? just wondering if anyone has had driveshaft problems after LCA were installed.

If I read correctly, your lift is already installed with cam bolts in place.

I don't have experience with cam bolts but I'm thinking you may need to have the slots corrected back to stock form before you using the adjustable arms.

Cam bolts and adjustable control arms serve the same purpose. They allow you to adjust the caster and pinion angles. The lca's just do the job better.

So, pull the cams, have the holes welded back up, and you can set the length of the new arms to give you the exact same caster you have now, if that is what you want.

im not exactly sure how i am going to get those holes welded up.. i was thinkin about using the washers that come with the cam bolts and using them to keep the new LCA in place since they are shaped and set up to fit and not slide forward or backward.

You can do adjustable control arms and still keep the cam bolts without an issue. You would just set your arms to length and then the alignment shop can fine tune the caster with the cam bolts.
