Default Air bag light

I just replaced drivers rear speed sensor. The Christmas tree went out. Now a week later, the air bag light goes on & off and dings like a door bell. It is stock, auto, after bumper with winch. Does anybody know what might cause this? I am gonna check the seat belt connection, as that completes the circuit for the air bag

Yup. Clock spring.

Depending on the year, could be under a recall. I think 2007-2010.

If not, https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-w...cement-273201/

Check out http://recalls.mopar.com/
You can just type in your vin and see if your jeep has a recall on the clockspring

It is an early 2007. That is how I found out the speed sensor was bad. I took it to the dealership to check the clock spring. That was 3 weeks ago. They said clock spring ok, drivers rear speed sensor bad. The next week end I replaced speed sensor. Took a couple of days for all the dash lights to stop coming on. Later in the week the air bag does its crazy crap.

you could have the dealer scan it again. if it's the drivers squib circuit code you'll need the clock spring under the recall. should be covered no problem.

Went to the dealership yesterday and was told mine was not covered and that it was the wires to the sensors under the drivers seat
