Air bag light need help!!!!!!!
#2
I've heard that a bad connection under the seat will cause the air bag light to come on. Try disconnecting the battery for awhile.(reboot) Another reason the light can come on is a bad clock spring.

If by unplugging you mean the signal wire for the passenger occupancy indicator then it may trigger a fault that would signal the airbag if the seat belt is also being used. Pretty sure you have to have both those conditions set in order for the airbag to be active.
If you have plugged it back in then the light should go out on its own once the airbag system has run through its diagnostics a few times, some veh manufacturers you will see the airbag either light up for 7 seconds and then go out and others it will flash and then go out. If it stays on you may just need to hook up a scantool and delete the code that set when you disconnected it.
