Clockspring for dust problem and both driver and passenger airbag units. Have received two notices so far. One dealership said replacements would only be done if error code detected, other said would be replaced irrespective.

New steering wheel? I believe they might be just replacing the air bag itself or components of the air bag. I highly doubt they would replace a whole steering wheel. That would be one expensive recall.

Everyone will be waiting a very long time for the air bag recall parts to come in. Almost every auto manufacturers are affected by the Takata air bag issue.

Got my recall for my 2011 two weeks ago. Passenger side airbag only and parts not currently available. You have to register at the website on the mailed recall notice so you can be notified when your airbag is available at your dealership for replacement.

Default Airbag recall

I got my Airbag recall for my 2012 JK. They recalled it, but have no idea when the parts will be available. Wonder if I could just have them disabled, and never take it back. Nice dream, sure would be nice. Glad my 1994 XJ doesn't have them.
