Default Air Conditioner runs rough

When I turn on the air conditioner, the compressor is noisy and you can feel the vibration in the steering wheel and even the seat. It that normal for these vehicles? In my other vehicles, I've been able to hear the compressor switch on, but I've never felt it as I do in the Jeep.

No A/C problems here - of course I haven't had it running that long here in Michigan!

I haven't felt it either. I can feel the subwoofer in the gas pedal though!

I will try it today and pay better attention.

That isn't normal. I've had a few hours worth of a/c time and I can barely tell a difference in noise over just running the vent.

Mine works great. No obvious vibrations, rattles, etc. Sounds like you need to see your dealer.

Definately not normal. The JK has an extremely strong climate control system. The air blows really, really cold and no vibrations in mine!

Turned on mine for the first time yesterday here Maryland - maily just to see if it works after three months of owning the JK and never trying it. No problems....couldn't say it was cold as ice but it worked fine otherwise.

It seems like it does take a lil while to really get cold, but after that little while, mine was running plenty cold and i only had it on low fan and halfway through the cold setting.

Thanks for the replys. It does sound like there something not quite right with my unit, but I wanted some other opinions before I took it back to the dealer.

Thanks again.
