Default Air Dam Removal

Easy to remove? Any real advantage to having this ugly thing? Seems to look way better without it...

Easy to remove? Yes, just hit anything with it (even lightly) and it comes right off. Clever design feature. I agree that it looks better without it but since "removing" mine, my gas mileage has dropped a mile or two per gallon.

I know a few people have said taking it off negatively affected gas mileage. But I dont know by how much and this is 2nd hand info, so you know how that goes. I do agree though, it is an ugly piece of junk. I cant wait to replace it with something real.

as for removal, simple, just grab at side and use force to remove! IMO best mod I did early on in ownership, I still have it hanging on the wall where the bikes are parked!

As for MPG, did it affect the mileage? maybe, but then again, it might be the tires (35"), the lift, the fact that I can't drive slow except on the trail!

It's ugly, useless (as far as I am concerned) and a waste!

is there not a way to properly remove it? I don't want to just start ripping at it and break something else

Default Removal

For me it was easy when I didn't want it to come off. When I was removing it to toss in the trash I had to drill out those stupid plastic screw things. I couldn't say if it helps with mileage. I have different bumper and I'm running 35's.
