air deflector

Default air deflector

i live where there are lots of flying insects and loose rocks.it seems this jeep windshield catches everything.do you have a deflector,what kind and does it help?

If you think your windshield catches everything now wait until you put one of these on. Every JK i've seen except one that had a bug deflector had a cracked windshield, as you already know the windshield isnt on much of an angle and these things deflect everything into your windshield. As far as i'm concerned another bonehead engineer at chrysler designed this or just used an existing model without doing any real world testing in regards to JK's.

on a jeep its for looks. it works well on a car because as stated above the angle is much lower making it easy to create a little up draft to help things clear the window.

have one, hate it, looks like trash, but want it for winter so hood doesn't get trashed by rock salt, taking it off in spring. it doesn't deflect anything, same amount of bugs and rocks hit windshield. Save your money. I wish i would have.
