The Airaid CIA claims something around the likes of a 14HP 24 lbs of torque. I think a few members here on the forums have this and have noticed the gain in power but the improvement on MPG seems inconclusive.

If you just bought it how about breaking the engine in first?

I added the AIRADE intake, it sure sounds nicer and deeper. I actually tried the original after I had tested the AIRADE just to see the difference, I can say that there is a change, but not sure about 14hp? more like 5-8 at the most. the gas is hard to tell since after you install the intake all youll keep doing is steping on the gas harder just to hear it roar..jejeje

Default Put on a better muffler

Not to change the direction here, but if you are after MPG, the best thing I have done so far was to put on my flowmaster. I didn't even do a cat-back system. I just went to my local muffler store and had them cut off the stock exhaust and replace it with the flowmaster. This jumped me up from 17 mpg on my daily commute, to 22 mpg. I couldn't believe it. Wasn't expecting anything like it.

That was of course a week before I had the lift and tires done. Now we are right back down where we started with the MPG, but the jeep is sexy and rock ready. A nice trade-off I would think!
